Ingeniously Simple

If you decide to invest in the technology of direct-to-garment printing today, you have the choice between a variety of different system solutions, which at first view, look more or less the same. Without closer evaluation, even the print quality and colours seem to be similar too, so for many people the purchase cost is an impsortant criteria. However, the many benefits of the rainbow textile printer are properly considered and evaluated, not only the good price will convince you the rainbow is superior, and the right choice:

ZeroFixture© - ZeroHeight© How to load a shirt

Before you print a shirt it has to be pulled over a shirtholder - this is always the case using the direct to garment technology. With most printers the shirt has to be placed wrinkle-free on a pallet, typically the part of the shirt you don´t print on is stuffed away behind. This is not always easy when thicker garments are like sweatshirts and hoodies etc are used.

With the rainbow, it is different: The shirtholder is replaced with the Zero Fixture mechanism, a closed shirtbox with a quite simple spring system, which adapts automatically to the individual height of each garment. This ZeroHeight functionality makes sure, that the distance to the printhead is kept constant the whole time, and there is no reason to be wary of printing thick sweats and shirts, since they can easily been loaded in the boxspace under the pallet.

ZeroAlign© the patented transport system

“It seems to be the same printer used in many other machines, so there should be no difference in output“ It looks this way to many garment finishers, but actually the rainbow is distinctly different. The features that determine quality and repeatability of the print in direct to garment printing are mostly found in the way of driving and controlling the shirtholder. What makes the rainbow different from all other printers in this respect, is the patented transport system, that integrates the base functionality of the Epson 4880 print engine in a simple an ingenious way. The loaded shirtbox is simply placed on the transport belts and, using the ZeroAlign© functionality, just by pushing a button, it will be moved exactly and accurately to the start position of the printer.

Patented economically

The printing results are exceptional, not only for the first print, but as often as you promised to your customers. However, for the business to be profitable it depends not only on the reliability of the printer but also how much ink is used.

ZeroWaste© White Cleaning without loosing colours.
You cannot make an omelette without breaking eggs - and if you work with textile ink, you have to clean the printer. But unfortunately your printer does not know that due to the high pigmentation of the white ink, it is typically sufficient to clean only the nozzles used for the white ink, so the cleaning process will unnecessarily waste coloured ink. Again, the situation is much improved with the rainbow. The patented ZeroWaste© cleaning system makes it possible to disconnect the coloured ink channels when cleaning the nozzles. The ink is saved – to stop money (your profits) go down the drain!

Perfectly controllable

Not only the hardware performance and design features, but more and more the flexibility in the software is important when managing a business. It is the same when running a direct to garment printer. A key feature of the rainbow printer is the Rainbow-Rip©, which focuses strongly on essentials to maximize a high quality output. The easy-to-handle software offers a high-performance import-functionality of all common vector- and image-files and abstains from any extensive graphic features, which are these days offered in standard prepress-software anyway.

When you see how quick and fast graphic-files are imported and transformed to a printfile, you realise the real performance of the rainbow-rip. There are a lot of automated features that help you find the perfect print mode for your individual design. The creation of the white underbase when printing on dark shirts is one that should be highlighted. Another aspect is the integrated preview, which enables you to simulate the print out on different coloured shirts
